College Park District of Columbia Condos

College Park life is full, accessible and fun, even if you’re not in college or working at the nearby University of Maryland campus.

You’ll be about 33 miles south of Baltimore and 27 west of Annapolis, the state capital and other points for sailing and luxuriating along the Chesapeake Bay.  You’ll likely use BWI (Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall International Airport), south of Baltimore, or Washington National Airport for flying.  Or, for small planes, use College Park Airport, known as the “Cradle of Aviation,” as the world’s oldest operating airport.  Established in 1909 after Wilbur Wright trained two military officers on the stretch of land to fly in the government’s first aeroplane, College Park Airport also offers tours. 

College Park sits on the Metro subway green line and is one of the MARC train stops from DC’s Union Station or Baltimore.  Or, drive since you’ll be an exit off the Capital Beltway, which connects to I-95. 

Some go to College Park just to eat.  Land of scores of ethnic mom-and-pops and grocers offering drop-dead deals for DC in Indian, Middle Eastern, African, Latin, Chinese, Thai and Kosher fare, you’ll also find college-populated pizzerias and hamburger joints.
